Raggedy Man, Goodbye. Or is it?

Amy gave him a small laugh, looking down. If only he knew. “Oh….you know. She’s……she’s important to me….” she muttered, not answering his question at all. Her hand ghosted over the console as she thought. “She’s..she’s basically like family to me.” That was a good description, right? Didn’t give anything away, no spoilers. Vague yet accurate.

“Always there for me when I needed her to be. Helped me when I needed it. Even slapped you for me a few times.” she laughed slightly before looking up at him. “I can’t say exactly what she is to me. You might think that I could….but I can’t…..” She paused for a moment. “But…you can guess. If you want. I’m sure you’ve got some idea as to who she might be to me and to you. What’s your guess?” Amy asked, giving him a knowing smirk much like River would. She knew there was no way he could possibly guess correctly, so what harm was there in it?

He stood up, studying her features carefully. “Basically like family, huh?” The Time Lord walked toward her, stopping inches away from the ginger and frowning. He knew that smirk quite well, or he thought so. The Doctor couldn’t deny that he had a theory, but it was just too.. wibbly wobbly. Even for someone like him. “Nah. It can’t be.” He muttered, walking back to where his coat was hung. And he had enough daughters for one regeneration. But wait– would that mean he was going to be ginger in the future?

“I have a guess; for whom she might me to me.” He said, feeling comfortable around her. The Time Lord felt like he could trust her, since the moment she stepped inside his box. “Cause last time we met she knew my name. My true name. And there is only one way she could have found it, unless she is a Time Lady that survived the Time War and I don’t know that; which I believe is highly improbable. So just one possibility. And it worries me.” With his overcoat on, he stopped at her side, let out a breath. “Especially after what I’ve seen.”
