He didn’t restrain the smile that formed on his face upon her reaction. No, not everyone knew that she fancied him. Only his friends insinuated about it, and after knowing they were here tonight, more talking would be done. Patrick sighed and finished his drink.

“You can say something. I don’t bite. Not yet.” The man looked around, searching for the waiter. “Do you still want to eat something or can we go to my apartment now?”

Jean fiddled with the cameo ring she wore on her right hand. She didn’t exactly know what to do with this date. I mean, yes she had been on them before, yet she felt quite…well awkward with this one. But then again it was her boss.

“It’s up to you.” She stayed,

He sighed, buttoning his suit and resting his elbows on the table. “C'mon Jean, a bit more of attitude, please. We’ll do whatever you like. I’m not the boss tonight. Just another ordinary guy.” Patrick plastered his best and charming smile on his face.
