Clara is the Master AU! || Open to any Doctors (pretty please someone)

short-and-bossy:

Clara Oswald always wondered how she knew the Doctor. She couldn’t explain the feeling, but it was as if she’d known him her whole life, well more like his whole life if that made any sort of sense. It was his eyes mostly, staring into them it was like staring into a tunnel through his past. As her days with the Doctor went on the feeling grew stronger, and she began to develop head aches. Clara thought nothing of it, until the aches began to pound in her head like it were an empty drum, starting out low at first until there came a day when Clara couldn’t even get out of bed. The drumming was deafening and soon engulfed her in it’s sound.

As she lied in bed it almost felt as if the drumming was calling her forward, like a force. The girl managed to stumble her way through the flat, tearing it apart until she stumbled upon a box. Clara had all but given up hope of her sanity until her hands felt the cool touch of the wooden box. The drumming became a pulse. One-two-three-four. One-two-three-four. One-two-three-four. Her hand cracked it open and suddenly the drumming stopped. As curious as it seemed, the girl’s small hands pulled a fob watch from the box’s felt insides. Her thumb brushed over the soft metal before turning it over. At first her eyes couldn’t make out the symbols but she soon recognized Gallifreyan. As if controled by another force her hands reached for the clasp opening the silver fob watch and changing her forever.

The light of time energy surrounded her filling the memories back into her head, from Gallifrey to Skaro she remembered it all, every face, every Dalek, every Doctor. The life of the Master returned, only with a different face. The light soon faded as the Master closed the fob watch setting it in her pocket. With a turn she noticed the flat that officially belonged to her looked like it had been ransacked, though she gave little care. Now that she remembered who she really was, she doubted she would linger on Earth much longer. However her thoughts were quickly irrupted when the all too familiar sound of the TARDIS sounded in her living room. A twisted smile pulled over her lips and quickly the woman gussied herself up in the mirror a moment before heading for her fellow Time Lord. Clara waited patiently as the ship became solid and for it’s doors to open. There was a creek of hinges and sure enough the friendly face of her foe was staring back at her.

“Hello Doctor.”

Travelling around the universe, the Doctor was happy to not being alone at last. Now that he’d found Clara and convinced her to travel with him despise the fact that she already travelled to his future self, travelling alone a few times wasn’t so bad at all. After a quick run away from a Sontarian empire, he was back on the safety of his blue box. Next destination, Earth, XXI century. Clara Oswald’s house.

The weird thing about Clara is that he had always felt comfortable around her. She had a certain thing, a weird energy that was familiar to him. Like he’d always known her his entire life, since the days back in Gallifrey. She understood him, and he wasn’t afraid to be himself while she was around. Perhaps she was different; that’s why the future him was travelling with her. He’d gone through dyas of thought, and he found nothing wrong with Clara whatsoever.

After the usual groaning of the TARDIS disappeared, he made sure that everything was settled on the console after opening up the doors, putting his coat on and opening a huge smile at the sight of the woman. “Saturday at last! Good thing to find you home, wasn’t sure that the time was right. Hello, Oswald!“
